You can create a welcome flow for all new customers or sign-ups. It is even possible to automatically follow-up on other automated flows, perhaps 8 days after an online purchase, after the recipient clicked on something specific etc.

The system can also learn from the recipient’s behaviour and use it to enrich all new automated flows.

Easy Import and Export

It is a matter of just a few clicks to import and export your contacts in eMailPlatform from Outlook, Excel and many other systems.

Our system automatically recognises the file you upload and sees to it that the recipient data is imported correctly and quickly. You can import data directly from an Excel sheet or a contact/distribution list from Outlook, or from your web shop, another email system or other data source.


Whitelisting ensures that your campaigns reach the inbox (and not the spam filter) or your intended recipients fully intact. We are approved by both commercial and non-commercial whitelists meaning that you can be sure of an extraordinarily high degree of delivery reliability from eMailPlatform.

Essentially there are four acknowledged industry standard whitelists and certifications worldwide. eMailPlatform is certified with all of these (and indeed many more).

Bounce Management

Our unique scoring system ensures that your content is delivered to your recipients in the optimal way. In practice it means that inactive recipients are handled differently from your active and most active recipients.

Handling System Abuse

We are the only certified email service provider in Denmark. That’s another way of saying emails sent with eMailPlatform will always end up in the inbox. That is why we only accept serious senders as clients.

eMailPlatform is a certified solution
As the only Danish ESP that has chosen to be certified we offer some distinct advantages to you as a customer.

Because it matters to our customers’ business, certification important to us. On a practical level our certification means that all receiving mail servers (such as Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Gmail etc.) trust in advance anything that comes from eMailPlatform systems. This ensures all our customers enjoy an optimal delivery performance.

Given that we are honoured enough to service some of the most famous brands and companies in the world, we also set the bar high with our expectations of all our customers. As a result, we do not accept advertising networks, affiliate companies, third-party advertising, and other organisations sending emails that could be regarded as dubious in any way, shape or form.


Certified Senders Alliance
We are very pleased to be fully accredited by the CSA, the commonly acknowledged European standard whitelisting for fully legally and technically compliant email service providers (ESP).

The CSA places huge demands on those it certifies, and is therefore able to work with ISPs and certified ESPs to ensure that legally compliant, solicited mail does not need to pass through ISP SPAM filters.

This means that with eMailPlatform, you are guaranteed delivery to all those mail servers that use the CSA system.

This covers a range of other different spam-filters suppliers, specifically Barracuda Networks, which together provide around 25% of SPAM filtering to the world market. eMailPlatform is whitelisted with emailReg.

In addition, eMailPlatform also registered as a serious sender with Symantec MessageLabs, TrendMicro and similar suppliers of both SPAM filter hardware and software

The eMailPlatform certification through American-based SuretyMail is very extensive. SuretyMail covers a wide range of SPAM filter suppliers, either directly, or through SpamAssassin, an open-source project that SPAM filter manufacturers use, to call for a so-called scoring of the received mail.

SpamAssassin refers to the SuretyMail database to get confirmation that all mail campaigns sent by eMailPlatform are cleared for positive delivery.

SuretyMail is partnered with Hotmail, Sprint, SBC, SpamCop, Outblaze, GoDaddy, SECNAP, Clearswift, Sonic, SNET, Postini (now built into Gmail), Mailshell, SURBL, NavCom, ETRN Declude, Message Gate, Sprint Link, Vircom, excess of loss , SpamBouncer, Spam Check, ISP Services, CAS, Inc, PO Box, Abaca, IronBay, Biglist, Rahul, TriTech Assoc Prolocation, MNGI, Pivotal Veracity, Open Minds, Coast to Coast, Server Authority, WebPage Assoc., Partan Labs, CECOM, Chagres Tech., SCN Research, Reasonable Software, Hexamail, Saunalahti, Interactive Networks child Siglan, Asarian, Open Minds, OLS, Assoc. Nets, APANA, Pay 2 Send, GITK, ReadNotify, Clue, Taughannock, Uniwares, Bottomline, Wirtualna Pl. – and a large number other prominent SPAM filter suppliers and ISPs.


Return Path
We are also a Return Path certificated sender (which only affects Hotmail/ which we cover with our certification from SuretyMail.

In layman’s terms this means the certification and whitelisting that all mails sent by eMailPlatform enjoy result in a kind of “positive discrimination” by the receiving mail servers and their SPAM filters. Therefore the campaigns you create in eMailPlatform will always benefit from a class-leading rate of deliverability to your audiences.

We are also fully compliant with Cloudmark, the company safeguarding over a billion email and mobile subscribers worldwide. Most of the European ISPs use the Cloudmark SPAM-filtering service from Cloudmark, and worldwide this expands to over 150 national ISPs.

Nordic Whitelists
In addition, we are the only company whitelisted with Telenor and TDC. In practice this means that eMailPlatform cooperates with email postmasters at Telenor and TDC, listening closely to their advice, getting quality reports back on our customers, and using it to constantly improve our services. In a very proactive way, we have reached out and shaken hands with ISPs to fight SPAM.

Blacklist monitoring
Although eMailPlatform is certified it is possible that a single recipient from one or more of our IP addresses will end in a so-called blacklist. Such blacklists include SpamHaus, SpamCop and the like.

Whilst the consequence of ending up on a blacklist is not so damaging for our customers due to our many certifications, it is not something we take lightly, far from it in fact.

To mitigate such a situation arising, eMailPlatform has engaged the services of two other international companies to scan all our IP addresses 4 times each day, every day. These companies verify our services against more than 100 different black and greylists. This allows us, in turn, to quickly respond to any eMailPlatform IP address that becomes listed, and take immediate action to ensure our removal from the list.




A certification is difficult to achieve – and calls for diligence
Certification is extremely difficult to achieve. All the issuing authorities cherish their trustworthiness, and only certify companies that have a proven track record of compliance and quality. In all cases, the entire certification scheme’s credibility hangs on the character and ethics of the email marketing companies they approve.

As a result, certification systems such as SuretyMail or the Certified Senders Alliance, place heavy demands on their certified email service providers. At eMailPlatform our policy is only to deal with serious companies with good, compliant, mailing listings. We are therefore a natural fit for all relevant certifications and whitelists.


We are eMailPlatform

eMailPlatform have companies in more than 10 countries and service around 10,000 customers.

The company was founded in 2011 by Kim Østergaard. It is still owned by the founder and senior executives. Jens Baun was the man behind bringing the platform to North America.

Today, we employ more than 50 employees. In addition, each country office has its own organization for onboarding, support and sales. For us it is important to be close to our customers.
